Visitors can activate this Exhibit to observe a Simulated Lightning process. Lightning is the process of Dielectric Breakdown in nature. When a tremendous amount of opposite charges builds up on the Cloud and the Earth surface, lightning will occur.

Visitors can activate this Exhibit to create an electric arc and observe that the air is ionized and becomes a conductor. They will see that the electric arc travels from the bottom of two rods, which form in V-shape, to the top, where the electric arc extinguishes.
