Morse Code is an early form of digital communication and all the Characters are encoded as Dots or Dashes. Visitors can use the Morse Key to input a Morse Code Message.

The Pointer Telegraph uses the technology of a Step-by-step Sequential Circuit. Visitors can input a Message using the Pointer Telegraph. The Pointer Telegraph is much easier to use than the Morse Telegraph, but much slower.

Due to the convenient control and simple telegraphic procedures, Teletypes were used extensively in the past. They were widely used in Macau between the 60’s and 80’s. Museum Facilitators will perform demonstrations on sending and receiving Messages using Siemens T100S regularly.
